Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent / College Degree Preferred
2 – 3 years of billing
Bilingual Preferred
Must be knowledgeable with PHI Protocols, HIPAA, & HITECH
Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities include demographic entry, ICD-10, charge entry, receipt posting, and accounts receivable
Insurance eligibility and benefit verification
Reconcile claims/accounts to complete resolution
Payment posting from both insurance and patient
Accounts receivable / follow up
Monitor assigned accounts to ensure maximization of collection dollars
Meets or exceeds key performance indicators measuring productivity, quality, and service level as defined by Management
Actively participates in team initiatives and in team status meetings
